Acrylic impregnated

Non Urethane Coated acrylic impregnated floors require routine maintenance comprising cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming or dust mopping. For cleaning a low speed buffing machine with an appropriate pad and cleaning product is required.

For white/bleached products always use an untreated mop - never use water or spirit based products.

For Urethane Coated acrylic impregnated floors follow the routine maintenance programme as outlined above. However, the commercial equipment recommended for non urethane products is not required in this instance.

Damp mopping should be carried out with a recommended pH neutral wood floor cleaner, and for light scratches apply a light wax coat to the scratched area. Deeper scratches or damage may require sanding, refinishing and resealing by a hardwood floor professional.

Sports hall venues including basketball courts, aerobic and dance studio floors take the heaviest beating of all. General guidelines for routine maintenance are defined in the 'Do's and don'ts' table below:
