Floated wood floor
First check the sub floor condition to ensure that it is even, sound and free of excessive moisture. Use levelling compound and moisture barrier as necessary.
Then layout the underlay onto the sub floor and then apply PVA wood flooring glue along the top surface of the tongue. The top joints should be filled with glue when securing the boards together.
Where necessary use a tapping block to tap the boards to fit snugly into the T&G joint. Remove the excess glue as soon as possible by using a damp cloth or sponge.
