Installing wood floors

DIY installation
While we would advise that it's best to pay an experienced wood flooring professional to lay your wood floor, it's certainly true that a competent DIY enthusiast can make a considerable saving if they have the capability to install it themselves. Fitting can often cost as much per square metre as the flooring itself but always remember to take a moisture reading on sub floors. Particularly concrete sub floors both old and new and ensure wet trades have dried out so the moisture content is at zero to 1% as excessive moisture can have a negative impact on the wood flooring.

Fitting service
For professional fitting to the highest standard, please contact us and we will put you in touch with a professional wood flooring fitter to provide you with on site advice and a competitive quotation.

We will either:
- provide them with your details so that they can contact you direct
- pass on their details so you can choose to contact them (for your security and convenience)

Or do both of the above - simply tell us your preferred option when you contact us.
