Surface peeling, bubbling and blistering

Description
Surface finish lacquer that has blistered or bubbled up on the surface, or is peeling off.

Possible causes
Stain or lacquer not completely dry, or preliminary coats not dry when the finish was applied. Alternatively, the coating may have been applied on top of a previous coating with an incompatible product.

Remedial tips
If de-lamination from wood surface, sand and refinish. If surface only, screen and re-coat.
