Chewing Gum deposits

Penetrating stains or wax products
Fill a plastic sandwich bag or similar with ice and place this directly onto the chewing gum. After a while the gum will become brittle and should be easier to break up and remove from the surface of the wood floor. Clean any residue as necessary with wood flooring cleaner and re-wax if necessary.

Lacquer or other surface finish
Fill a plastic sandwich bag or similar with ice and place this directly onto the chewing gum. After a while the gum will become brittle and should be easier to break up and remove from the surface of the wood floor.Carefully remove any remaining residue or stain with a cloth impregnated with a urethane/lacquer wood flooring cleaner.
