White spots (water stains)

Penetrating stains or wax products
Rub wax into each white spot with fine steel wool. If the white spot is still visible then try sanding lightly with a very fine sandpaper and then clean with a wood floor cleaner. Once dry, reapply the wax and buff to the sheen level as required.

Lacquer or other surface finish
Use a urethane/lacquer wood flooring cleaner and for stubborn stains carefully remove with a urethane wood flooring scrub pad.
