The Colossus wide board range is an impressive and massive single plank selection in a rustic character grade of oak, which ranges from 240 - 300mm in width, supplied in lengths of up to 1900mm. It's great value and is suited to large open spaces both commercial and residential. It is particularly at home in period properties and is popular with developers of barn conversions.
It is ideal for secret nailing or installation by the full stick down method with Sikabond T54 adhesive. Installation with the Sika professional wood flooring glue is recomended and ideal for use with underfloor heating installations.
This board comprises a 6mm top layer of oak in a single plank built upon a 15mm multi-ply base. It comes in a 1.824 sq m pack. Colossus boards are classified 'rustic' grade because they are full of character and can contain knots, mineral streaks and sap wood. However, as the product photography shows, the boards can also be very clean and free of knots.
