Corinthia jatoba lacquered is just one of the high quality Walnut & other species offered by Source Wood Floors. This Jatoba wood flooring board is 127mm wide and 18mm thick with random length length boards ().

As a solid wood floor, this board is constructed from a solid single piece of timber which features a generous wear layer above the T&G profile which can be sanded down up to six times.

However a solid wood floor that is cared for and well maintained should not need sanding for fifteen to twenty years or so.

It is a structural wood floor and it benefits from a tongue and groove profile on all four sides of the plank. Each floorboard has a bevel edge detail (a V groove) which helps to emphasise the plank look of every floorboard.

The rustic grade of this wooden floor features a wealth of character and charm with natural markings, colour variations, mineral streaks, growth rings and a mix of closed and open knots.

Pre-finishing of the floor in a satin lacquer achieves a subtle sheen which gives a gentle reflection of natural light from the surface of the floorboard. (varnished 40%)

Corinthia jatoba lacquered can be installed by gluing it to the subfloor with a flexible floor adhesive such as Sikabond. It is usually available in 1-3 days and comes in a 2m2 pack.
