About Oak Skirting & Mouldings
Having a wonderful looking wooden floor sometimes isn’t enough, so matching skirting, mouldings, and thresholds often completes the look. Skirting boards and mouldings are often used around the perimeter of rooms to cover the expansion gap between floor and wall. There are also several different profiled door thresholds that can be used to join flooring to flooring at the same or different heights, R-Ramps can be used if the difference in height is more than 10mm.
All of our skirting, mouldings, trims, and thresholds are manufactured from solid prime grade oak, and are finished in a natural oil, lacquer, or left unfinished. We can also stain match all of our oak skirting & mouldings to match your flooring or furniture.
There is a large range of door thresholds available in 9mm, 15mm, 18mm, and 20mm depths. Profiles such as T-Bar, R-Ramp, wood to carpet, end section, and stair nosing are all available.
Also to compliment your flooring there is a wonderful selection of different profiled skirting boards, all made to order from the very best solid prime grade oak. The heights vary from 75mm-170mm, and they come in taurus, ogee, chamfered, plain square edge, bullnose, and castle profiles. All our skirting boards can be stain matched if required, and we even have all profiles available white primed made from tulip wood.
If you require something a little more minimalistic than skirting boards then we have a selection of scotia, perimeter, or quadrant mouldings to choose from.
