Riviera oak brushed & oiled is just one of the high quality Riviera plank range offered by Source Wood Floors. This Oak wood flooring board is 148mm wide and 14mm thick with 1860mm length boards (up to 15% split lengths).

As a single plank engineered wood floor, this board is constructed from a 3 ply construction.

Engineered wood floors are constructed with a top hardwood layer plus a base layer. In this product the base material is Softwood and it benefits from a tongue and groove profile on all four sides of the plank. This high quality hardwood floor features a top wear layer of 3.5mm which can be sanded three times. However a hardwood floor that is cared for and well maintained should not need sanding for fifteen to twenty years or so. Each floorboard has a bevel edge detail (a V groove) which helps to emphasise the plank look of every floorboard.

The rustic grade of this oak wooden floor exudes a wealth of character and charm with natural markings, colour variations, mineral streaks, growth rings and a mix of closed and open knots.

This floor is produced from timber that has been sourced from a sustainable resource. To provide a natural finish to the floor that offers durability and which brings out the natural character and grain, this floor is pre-finished in a natural oil.

Before finishing this floor is wire brushed across the surface of the wood which removes softer timber in the grain and enhances it by producing a textured surface to the floor. This flooring is suitable for use with Under Floor Heating systems. Please ask for specific details on installation recommendations. Riviera oak brushed & oiled can be installed by floating the flooring onto a suitable wood flooring underlay or it can be glued down with a flexible floor adhesive such as Sikabond. It is usually available in 1-3 days and comes in a 2.2m2 pack.

Economy Delivery

Economy delivery is a 2 - 3 day economy service where speed of delivery is not essential and so some savings can be made over the Next day charge.

Next day (place by 2pm)

The Next Day delivery service for wood flooring must be placed by 10.30 am. We will endeavour to get all wood flooring orders expressed to as quick as possible.
