Sikabond T52 AcouBond System
The Sika Acoubond System is a wood floor bonding system where high reduction of both impact and ambient noise is required. Ideal for flats, apartments and any upstairs room where there is a concern of noise transmission to the rooms below.
This is a simple, fast and easy to install system, the slotted underlay providing a template for applying the Sikabond adhesive
It reduces stress on the substrate: the elastic material-compatible adhesive reduces transverse stress between the wooden floor and the sub floor. Low adhesive consumption, typically around 1.25m2 per 600cc sausage with the 3mm Acoubond system.
The thickness of the Sika bond T52 adhesive and the 3mm to 5mm underlay provides for compensation in surface irregularities in the sub floor. Suitable for all wood floor types including Beech and Bamboo, solid and engineered wood floors.
