Sikabond adhesives
For a long time, timber floors have not been nailed anymore, but bonded or laid "floating”. Timber floors can therefore be laid in a time-saving manner without the need for a sub-floor. But there is still potential for improving even these laying methods. In the end all timber and laminate floors should maintain their attractive aspect. The solution is elastic bonding. This ensures an optimal durable bond of timber even under high mechanical and environmental stress that considerably exceeds the capacities of conventional bonding systems. No priming required, high tolerance regarding adhesive layer thickness, so the applicator can feel safe when laying the floor. Impact noise reduction and in-room noise-deadening properties of elastic adhesives impress designers and owners. |
