Tuplex Underlay meets every critical demand for laminate and engineered wood floors. - plus it does not rap moisture between the vapour barrier and the sub floor.
Constantly circulating air carries moisture to the floor's perimeter where it harmlessly evapourates. Constant airflow is the answer to removing moisture and mould growth, not chemical treatments.

Sound Features
Tuplex meets the latest requirements for impact sound isolation (20dB). It also provides a depp rich solid sound in the room. Tuplex is constructed by laminating two layers of solid polyethene with flexible polystyrene "Polyshims" in between them
Compressibility
Tuplex holds its shape well under load. Tuplex was tested under a load corresponding to 600kg/m2. During the seven day test period Tuplex lost just 4% of its thickness. Commonly used foam underlays lost 56% of their thickness in the same period.

Ideal with underfloor heating
Tuplex has a low thermal resistance which makes it ideal to use with a floor heating system.
100% synthetic materials
Synthetic materials are more stable and less lilkely to deteriorate than natural fibres. These stabilized materials require no chemical additives - the fewer chemicals introduced to the home the better.

Levels the sub-floor
Only Tuplex underlay has a consistency that forms itself to the sub-floor. Thousands of Polyshims eliminate slight variations and provide even and firm support to the flooring at all times. Variations in a sub-floor surface can cause movement where the planks of the floating floor meet and are joined together. This movement weakens the joints which can lead to floor squeak and cracking as people walk across these and adjacent boards. Please see Tuplex website for further details.

Delivery
Economy Delivery
Economy delivery is a 2 - 3 day economy service where speed of delivery is not essential and so some savings can be made over the Next day charge.
Next day (place by 2pm)
Next Day Delivery is a ParcelForce 24 service for accessories which will be delivered anytime from 08.00 up to 18.00. Some orders are dispatched direct from manufacturer. Some with APC Overnight which will arrive before 4pm. Orders must be placed before 2.00pm.
This is a next business day service despatched on Monday to Friday only. Please note that orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday and orders placed over the weekend will be delivered on Tuesday.
